Sleep disturbances during pregnancy are reported to occur most frequently in pregnant women in the third trimester due to increased hormones and a sense of comfort. The Sleep Foundation explains that 97.3% of pregnant women in the third trimester always wake up at night an average of 3-11 times per night. Efforts to overcome complaints of sleep disturbances in pregnant women are usually with non-pharmacological therapy including acupressure which is a complementary therapy. Research Objective: To determine the Effect of Acupressure Using Coconut Oil on Increasing Sleep Quality in Pregnant Women. Research Method: Quasi-Experimental research design with a "two group pretest-posttest" design. The study population of pregnant women in the third trimester at the Independent Midwife Practice Center (TPMB) in Bengkulu City, totaling 30 people, divided into two groups, namely 15 people who were given acupressure in the pregnant women's class followed by home visits and 15 pregnant women who were only given standard pregnancy care. using purposive sampling technique. Statistical tests using Chi-Square. Research results: The optimal research results are 1 person (7%) and after being given acupressure, almost all of them had optimal sleep quantity, they are 14 people (93%) from 15 pregnant women in the control group who were only given standard pregnancy care before the intervention, their sleep quantity was less than optimal, they are 5 people (33.7%) and after that, the sleep quantity mostly increased to 10 people (66.7,3%). The results of the analysis using the Chi-Square test, p-value = 0.010 <α value = 0.05, meaning there is an Effect of Acupressure Using Coconut Oil. Suggestion: It is hoped that Acupressure has been introduced (taught) since the third trimester of pregnancy and can be done independently at home.
